Finally Achieve Your Goals

Here is a Step-By-Step Plan Of Action to Finally Achieve
Your Goals.

1.  First you will want to write down everything. This
is a Top Priority!

Grab a note book and start writing everything you want to
accomplish in the next year, five years etc. Do It Now! You can
come back to this article when your done, but do it now! Write
down everything no matter how silly of trivial it seems. The point
here is to get your goals on paper. Keep writing until you have
at least 3 pages. Once you are done come back and finish the
rest of the steps.

2.  Did you write your list? If not, do it now! Don't read on
until your done. OK, you have your list ready right? Step two
is to go through the list and categorize your list from the most
important goals down to the least important. Plus, dump any
you think you can do without.

3.  OK, Are you done? Next, make a list for each goal of what steps
you will need to take in order to achieve each goal.

Example:  If your goal is to get into shape. What steps are
needed to achieve this?

I will do the following 5 days a week to achieve this goal

1.  Exercise 20-30 minutes a day.
2.  Take garlic pills everyday to cut my cholesterol level.
3.  Bring my lunch to work instead of eating at the fast
food restaurant.
4.  Park my car 1 block from everywhere I go and walk the
last block.
5.  Eat at least 5 serving of fruits and vegetables everyday.

Now once you have written down what you need to do, set up an
autoresponder to send you a daily reminder for each step you
need to accomplish your goal.

If you have 5 different goals you want to accomplish write 1-5
daily tasks for each one to make sure of your success. Each day
you will receive a list of your daily tasks to accomplish each of
your 5 goals all in one email. Be sure to make the subject line
for each one something to get your attention and motivate you
to get started right away.

Now set up all your daily tasks in an autoresponder. If you want
to start on a Monday, once you have your autoresponder set-up send
a blank email to your autoresponder email first thing Monday morning.
This way you'll get your first one right away and each day you
will receive your daily tasks first thing in the morning.

You can set-up a free autoresponder here. Here is a step-by-step
guide to setting up your autoresponders.

Step One: Go to http://www.ipromoteit.com/GetResponse.html

Step Two: Click on sign up for free.

Step Three: Fill out the sign-up form. Use a name that includes
one or two words about your goals for your autoresponder.

Step Four: Check your email for your pass word.

Step Five: Log into your account at the URL they sent you.

Step Six: Click on Messages

Step Seven: Scroll down the page and click on edit messages.

Step Eight: Left click on the first days steps in whatever
text file it is in. Start at the bottom of it and drag your
mouse to the top while holding down the left click. Your
daily step should now be selected in blue. Now right click
on it and click on copy. Now just click anywhere in the form
in the autoresponder where your message goes and click on paste.

Step Nine: Type Your subject line.

Step Ten: Click on save message.

Step Eleven: Scroll down and add day 2's message the same as
day one only this time make sure that at the bottom of the text
box where it says Interval: that day 2 says 1 this way they will
receive the first day immediately and the second day the next day.
If you want to skip the weekend set-up the first 5 day 1-5 and then
make the number 7 message skip two days and start from there.

Set-up at least 30 days. You can always go back to the
autoresponder once a week to add more goals. Just keep adding
them until you have an entire years worth of daily tasks to
accomplish.

Example:

message 1: Monday - immediately
message 2: Tuesday - 1
message 3: Wednesday -2
message 4: Thursday -3
message 5: Friday -4
message 6: Monday -7 and so on.


Your done! The autoresponder email address will be the name
of your account @GetResponse.com. So if your account was named
mygoals your autoresponder email address would be...

mygoals@GetResponse.com

As long as you do each days task consistently you WILL ACHIEVE
YOUR GOALS! If you miss a day simply pick up the steps the next
day and include them in that days list.

Featured Article - Are You Losing Fat or Muscle?

I often have to catch myself when speaking with clients or
newsletter subscribers when I use the terms "weight loss"
or "losing weight".

I mistakenly use these terms on my site and in my newsletters
even though I probably shouldn't.

Why?

I can bet that you, no matter how much you think you do, do not
want to lose weight.

You want to lose fat. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.

But it is the body fat you want to lose, not just weight.

I have never had anyone approach me and ask me how they could go
about losing some lean muscle while maintaining their fat levels.

This would cause weight loss.

So, all of us that think we may want to lose weight, it is
really the fat we are trying to lose while preserving lean
muscle tissue.

The cool thing is, when we lose fat and preserve lean muscle,
that lean muscle actually helps us burn more calories to keep
off the body fat.

So how do we go about ensuring that we are losing fat and not
muscle while we exercise and focus on our nutrition?

Although there is no absolute cut-and-dry method to ensure fat
loss and muscle preservation during intense exercise or calorie
restriction, there are some steps you can take to maximize the
likelihood it is fat you are losing and not lean muscle.

First, separate and attack the two independently.

Focus on losing fat.

Focus on increasing your lean muscle mass.

Treat them as two distinct entities.

When attempting to lose fat, there are primarily two ways to do
it.

One, increase aerobic activity.

Two, decrease caloric intake.

The best approach is to do a little of both.

Start to slowly decrease your caloric intake while increasing
the amount of cardio/aerobics you do.

Do not go to an extreme on either. Do not restrict calories too
much or you will actually cause your body to store more body
fat.  Also, do not do too much cardio for risk of overtraining
and increasing the likelihood of injury or sickness.

Approach losing body fat by focusing on those two areas, a
reduction of calories and an increase of aerobic activity.

That addresses the issue of losing fat, so how do you ensure
gaining or at least preserving your lean muscle mass?

Again, by focusing individually on what creates muscle gain.

During your weight training routine, try to keep progressively
increasing the amount of weight you lift over time. This alone
will cause your body to keep adapting to the increase in demand
by adding lean muscle tissue.

**One quick way to increase the weight you lift is by decreasing
your repetitions.**

Also, make sure you are getting adequate nutrition during the
day to support muscle growth. Since protein (amino
acids) is the building block of muscle, be sure to get enough of
it in your diet. Aim for about half of your daily calories from
protein.

Be sure you are getting adequate rest and recuperation
from your weight training workouts. It is very hard to grow lean
muscle if your body is not recuperated properly from workouts.

These are some steps you can take to make sure you are losing
fat and not muscle while attempting a weight loss/weight control
program.

It is fat loss we are after, not just weight loss. If we lost
muscle, we would still be losing weight, but not the weight we
would like to lose.

Approach each individually. While attempting to lose fat, focus
on the steps above that have to do with fat loss. In the mean
time, take the steps listed above and try to maximize muscle
gain while in the gym.

Perfect for normal to oily skin. Use a small amount on
moistened skin and always use an upward stroke to apply.

1 1/2 tsp. finely ground almonds
1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. rolled oats
1 drop sandalwood
1 drop rosemary
1 tsp. glycerin

1 cup sunflower oil
1/2 cup castile soap

Help For Acne

THE VITAMIN A IN EGG YOLK: Forget about the irritating Retin A
that doctors prescribe. If you have acne or any type of problem
skin, simply take the yolk of a raw egg, beat well, and apply
daily on your irritated skin. Allow it to stay on about 15
minutes, rinse with tepid water and then splash on a cup of
water that has 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in it.
This recipe will help relieve many outbreaks and reduce your
blemishes as well, and do it safely.

SZECHUAN-STYLE STIR FRY

Source:  Better Homes and Gardens (May 1991)
(made meatless by RFD)

Ingredients
1 lb. tofu, cubed
1/2 lb. snow peas
1/3 c. teriyaki sauce
3 T. Szechwan spicy stir-fry sauce
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 onion, chopped
3 c. chopped Bok Choy
2-3 T. cooking oil
1 c. broccoli florets
1 red bell pepper
1 7-oz. can straw mushrooms
1 14-oz. can baby corn

Instructions
Combine teriyaki, stir-fry sauce and cornstarch; set aside. 
Cut bell pepper in strips.  Cut snow peas and baby corn in
half.  In wok stir-fry onion & Bok Choy in 1 T. oil for 2
minutes.  Add broccoli & bell pepper; stir-fry 2 minutes. 
Remove from w Stir-fry cubed tofu in 1 T. oil for 2 minutes;
add more oil if necessary.  Stir sauce mixture and add to
tofu; cook until bubbly.  Add all vegetables; heat through. 
Serve over hot rice.
